1. Cancellation by the Trekker:

• If the Trekker wishes to cancel their participation in the trek, they must notify KS Groups in writing/email.

• The following cancellation charges will apply:

• Cancellation 30 days or more before the trek start date: 50% of the trekking fees will be retained by KS Groups, and the remaining amount will be refunded to the Trekker.

• Cancellation between 15 to 29 days before the trek start date:25% of the trekking fees will be retained by KS Groups as cancellation charges.

• Cancellation within 14 days of the trek start date: No refund will be provided to the Trekker.

2.Cancellation by KS Groups:

• In rare circumstances, KS Groups may need to cancel or reschedule the trek due to factors beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions, natural disasters, political unrest, or safety concerns.

• In such cases, KS Groups will notify the Trekker as soon as possible and offer alternative trek dates to the Trekker.

3. Refund Process:

• Refunds for cancellations will be processed within 15 business days from the date of cancellation notification.

• The refund will be made to the original payment method used by the Trekker for booking the trek.

4.No-Shows:

• If the Trekker fails to join the trek without prior notice or communication, no refund will be provided, and the trekking fees will be forfeited.

5.Partial Participation:

• If the Trekker decides to leave the trek prematurely or does not complete the entire trek due to personal reasons, no refund will be provided for the remaining trekking days.

6.Force Majeure:

• KS Groups shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or expenses incurred by the Trekker as a result of circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, or government regulations.

2. Responsibilities of the KS Groups

• Provide experienced guides and support staff for the duration of the trek.

• Arrange transportation, accommodation, and meals as per the agreed itinerary.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of the trekkers during the trek.

• Provide necessary equipment and gear required for the trek.

3. Responsibilities of the Trekker

• Abide by the instructions and guidance provided by the trek leaders and support staff.

• Follow safety protocols and adhere to trekking guidelines to ensure personal safety and the safety of fellow trekkers.

• Carry personal essentials, including suitable clothing, footwear, medications, and other necessary items as advised by the KS Groups.

• Respect the local customs, traditions, and environment along the trekking route.

4. Payment Terms:

• The Trekker agrees to pay the specified trekking fees to the KS Groups in advance or as per the agreed payment schedule.

• Any additional expenses incurred during the trek, such as personal purchases, extra meals, or optional activities, shall be born by the Trekker.

5. Liability Waiver:

• The Trekker agrees to pay the specified trekking fees to the KS Groups in advance or as per the agreed payment schedule.

• The Trekker releases theKS Groups and its employees, agents, and affiliates from any liability for injury, loss, or damage suffered during the Trek, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy:

• In case of cancellation by the Trekker, refunds will be provided as per the KS Groups cancellation policy, subject to any applicable deductions or charges.

• The KS Groups reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the Trek due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case alternative arrangements or refunds will be provided to the Trekker.

7. Confidentiality:

• Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive information shared during the course of the Trek.

8.Governing Law:

• This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of [Jurisdiction]The Supreme Court in India.
